The Chair of Complementary and Integrative Digital Health is a satellite of the Cochrane Field for Complementary Medicine. Cochrane is an independent, international research network committed to producing high-quality evidence syntheses.
Our focus is on complementary and integrative medicine. We adopt a forward-looking perspective on healthcare, using artificial intelligence to advance evidence synthesis.
We are committed to improve the current methods for generating and integrating evidence, with a focus on digital health and non-pharmacological interventions.
We also investigate which factors influence treatment effects—such as the characteristics of patients and therapists, the interaction between these characteristics, and the impact of the treatment setting. Through a participatory and inclusive approach involving researchers, clinicians, and patients, we shape evidence together and prioritize dissemination strategies that make it accessible, relevant, and actionable.
