Assessments and methodology
Another key focus of our research is the development and application of assessments to capture patient expectations, preferences, and the therapeutic relationship, particularly in the context of digital health interventions. These factors play a central role in the acceptance, adherence, and effectiveness of interventions.
We develop and evaluate instruments and methodological approaches to systematically assess these patient-related dimensions and make them available for use in studies in complementary and integrative medicine.
In addition, we formulate methodological recommendations for clinical studies and systematic reviews, especially in the field of digital health interventions, with the aim of improving the quality and robustness of the evidence on digital health solutions.
