Casey Murphy works in scientific communication for the Chair since 2023 and assists in projects related to AI and evidence-synthesis. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of New Mexico.

She began her career as a Project Assistant at UNICEF in New York, building a foundation in project management within a global context, before transitioning into healthcare. She went on to gain clinical experience in laboratory research at the University of California, Irvine, and completed an internship in Digital Health at the University of California, San Francisco—where her interest in health communication took shape. She has since been based in Zurich.

At the Chair, Casey applies her background in marketing and business administration to clinical research, translating scientific work into communication that is clear, engaging, and accessible. Her work covers writing, social media management, graphic design, and supports in research projects with an increasing focus on AI-supported tools.

She is particularly drawn to the role of storytelling in science and healthcare, bringing it to life across multiple mediums including writing, design, and the thoughtful use of AI tools. By tracing the narrative thread that runs through complex ideas, she is interested in making research understandable and meaningful.
